Los Angeles, California Area: 468 square miles, Population: 3.9 million, Population Density: 8,000 persons per square mile. Los Angeles "Skid Row" (Central City East) Area: .392 square miles, Population 7,300, Population Density 18,695 persons per square mile.
For 6 weeks members and friends of New Zion Christian Fellowship (NZCF) donated much needed toiletries for the occupants of Los Angels Central City East ("Skid Row"). On December 22, 2013, 125 "Blessing Bags" were distributed by the Pastors and members to the grateful occupants.
On Thanksgiving morning, 11/23/2017, members and friends of New Zion Christian Fellowship prepared 63 ready to eat meals. The meals were delivered to the church, prayers of thanks were given and the meals were delivered to individuals of the San Fernando Valley and Los Aneles area that were in need of a nutritious home cooked meal.
